Can courts in Lagos remand injured people in jail without ordering proper medical care first?

This was the case of Sewuese Matthew, who was battered by officials of the Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit, on Durosimi-Etti Drive, in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, for filming their rowdy operation.
She was detained in a cell overnight, charged to court the next day and remanded in Kirikiri prison for another night until her bail conditions were met. According to her, proper medical attention or even simple first aid was not administered to her, and she endured the pain of her severely bruised body and broken arm throughout her detention.
